SimBits are small conceptual models that demonstrate a feature or an approach. Each SimBit comes with documentation that explains the model and how it was built.
You can find the SimBits via the Support ribbon in the Simio application. Use the search to narrow down the list of SimBits. You can also use Help to search for SimBits as each SimBit document can also be found in Help.
The SimBit .spfx files can be found in the Simio application folder. Wherever Simio was installed, it includes a folder called SimBits with these files. The default folder path location might look something like this: C:\Program Files\Simio LLC\Simio\SimBits.
Examples are larger models that might be fully animated or show a group of related features. Most Examples focus on an application or theme. They include documentation that provides an overview of the model.
Examples can be found via the Support ribbon in the Simio application. You can also find the Example .spfx files in your Simio application folder. Wherever Simio was installed, it includes a folder called Examples with these files. The default folder path location might look something like this: C:\Program Files\Simio LLC\Simio\Examples.
